GeCoBi strongly rejects this one-sided attack on single and divorced fathers. It cements an outdated division of roles and prevents both parents from playing a significant role in the care and upbringing of their children.
We criticize the fact that the current draft law would throw tens of thousands of fathers into poverty and debt bondage – without giving them the opportunity to fulfill their maintenance obligations through childcare.
