The Legal Affairs Committee of the National Council approved two important proposals yesterday.
Parliamentary Initiative 21.449 by NR Sidney Kamerzin, which calls for the promotion of shared custody, was considered by the Commission to be important and urgent, and therefore any further delay should be avoided.
Initiative 24.419 by Philippe Nantermod calls for equal parental rights for unmarried fathers.
They should also be granted joint custody as the norm.
The Commission also clearly adopted this proposal.
